Letters Around the Fire

Letters Around the Fire

‘Letters Around the Fire’ is a space to bring a question you are carrying — something you may not have words for yet, or something you’ve been holding quietly for a long time.

You’re welcome to write about life, relationships, ancestry, ancestral reconnection, grief, confusion, return, or the places where you feel stuck, tired, or unsure. There is no need to write beautifully or explain everything. You don’t need to reach a conclusion. Write only what feels safe to share.

Your letter will be read with care and responded to as a recorded audio message by the ‘Firekeeper’. There are no live meetings.

What Is A Firekeeper?

A Firekeeper is an Elder who tends the space between question and understanding.

When a letter is received by the Firekeeper, it is met with care and quiet attention. The Firekeeper takes time to sit with what has been shared—reflecting, listening deeply, allowing lived experience and ancestral guidance to inform the response.

Each reply is shaped slowly and intentionally, with respect for both the letter itself and the person who wrote it.

💡
Letters Around the Fire is offered as reflective, ancestral correspondence.

This is not a space for crisis support, therapy, legal advice, or urgent harm.

Please share only what you feel safe placing into this container. If your body says yes, then feel free to come and sit around the fire.

LETTERS AROUND THE FIRE IS A SACRED EXCHANGE

The Firekeeper honours each letter with time and care.

The sacred exchange is how the writer honours the response in return.

It is not a payment, but a reciprocal exchange.
